About the Position:

This established and successful company is hiring a Senior Project Manager whose responsibilities will include but not be limited to:



  • Oversee and manage onsite construction engineering activities for large DOT projects valued at over $100 million.

  • Collaborate with others to resolve issues, ensuring construction quality and adherence to project schedules.

  • Plan, organize, and fill key field positions through regional department leadership.

  • Monitor budgets and job costing, preparing monthly project cost reports for review with Area and Division Managers.

  • Set project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within the project management guidelines.

  • Maintain communication with customers, joint-venture partners, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate construction activities.

  • Represent the company in project meetings and assist in labor negotiations and strategy discussions.

  • Direct on-site superintendents to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget, and implement corrective measures for any serious issues.

  • Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.

  • Complete additional assignments as directed by the supervisor.




Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

  • Preferably, 10+ years of experience with large heavy civil projects.

  • Knowledge of construction equipment, techniques, drawings, specifications, building materials, and required standards.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to take responsibility and meet deadlines.

  • Strong understanding of technology and construction software.

  • Preferably, 7+ years of experience in large construction project management.

  • Willingness and ability to travel.
