D.R. Horton, Inc. is currently looking for an National Trainer-Title in the Compliance Department. The right candidate will oversee corporate software training to support and ensure that company employees are educated and fluent in the company’s software and best practice procedures within the guidelines outlined by the National Operations Manager. Perform in-branch training and audits, communicated in each branch or to new employees as deemed necessary.



 



Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.




  • Communicate best practices and software related policies and procedures to all branches

  • Devise training material incorporating all relevant company practices

  • Perform quality audits on origination, processing, and closing functions

  • Monitor the effectiveness of new hire and follow-up trainings and adjust the curriculum as necessary

  • Must be able to travel a considerable amount each year, since it is necessary to visit every Title operation

  • Keep apprised of new developments and/or upgrades to the software system

  • Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company


 

Qualifications

 

Education and/or Experience




  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university

  • Six to eight years of related experience and/or training

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications

  • Proficiency with MS Office and email



 



Preferred Qualifications




  • Ability to "think on your feet" when asked complex questions

  • Ability to work independently for extended periods of time
